in the balance. Returning are the characters you love
to hate, root for, laugh and cry with. Will faith and
forgiveness salvage their love? What happens when love
and happily ever after are tempted with lust and secrets?
Sexy, emotional, thought-provoking, deliciously witty
and inviting, Elissa Gabrielle will put you in a trance,
on a wild ride full of twists and turns so bold; leaving
you wholly satisfied.

EXCERPT
As Summer leans back into the passenger seat of my ride, she
cracks the window to allow the cool breeze to sneak in. We
decided to head to the restaurant earlier from my loft in
the city, since Summer had work in New York today. She parks
in front of the loft, which will be really convenient for
her when it's time for her to leave. I must admit, I'm enjoying
Summer's company, but not ready to settle down with anyone
right now. I look over to her, and she stares back at me.
It's a look I've seen before, the look of love. I know Summer's
falling hard and I can't do anything about that. She is stunning
and right up my alley, as far as looks are concerned. And,
she's intelligent and has a good head on her shoulders. Could
any man ask for more? Yes, she's the perfect woman, but she's
not Amber, unfortunately.
I'm not sure, at this moment, if it is the whole forbidden
fruit notion that gets in the way of me moving on. Or, if
it is true love I feel for her. I know I feel some sort of
way about Amber. My stomach knots up when I think of her.
It took me weeks to change the sheets after the times I made
love to her. Just to inhale her precious scent, provided comfort
to my soul. She is the star of my dreams, the want in my need.
But, she belongs to my best friend. And now, they're having
a baby. There's no way in hell I'll be able to share my life
with the true love of my life. But as my momz always told
me, "you make your bed, you lie in it." What a predicament.
My ex is stalking me, I'm falling for the perfect woman, and
the true love of my is married to my best friend.
